Why did you start P90X?
I first learned about P90x from my older brother Gianni who had been non-stop talking about this program. At first, I thought I’d be just fine doing my own normal routine but then I started to see the results my brother was getting. The next day I decided to become a coach and start my own 90 day resolution and it was the best change ever. I lost about 20lbs, bulked up like I wanted to and got my six pack back. Still going strong with the program and keeping in shape til this day.
What were your biggest obstacles in getting your P90X results? How did you overcome those?
The biggest challenge for me was eating small meals throughout the day and drinking lots of water. Because I am on the road all the time for work, it was hard for me to pack food everyday and actually bring it with me. I overcame that by just making sure I made a lunch the night before so I had it ready for the morning. The other obstacle I had was actually working out on the weekends. Most of the time I just wanted to relax and not think about any “work” on the weekends or working out for that matter so it was tough to get to it. I just made sure to work out as soon as I got home on Friday’s, workout early on Saturday’s so it’s over and my rest days were on Sunday’s so I was all set there.
How have your P90X results changed your life?
P90x has given me the body that I had back when I was in high school. I had 3 workout classes a week back then and was always on top of my figure and in great shape. I could see the P90X results within 30 days of the program. Yeah, 30 DAYS!! To give you an idea, my biceps alone grew from 12inches when starting out, to 14 1/2inches in a little over a month with P90x. After the 90 day program, I went from 183lbs to 160lbs, lost 4inches on my waist (really none of my pants fit me anymore) and reduce my body fat by 7.47%. I feel like I can run for miles and during soccer season I’m all over the place.
Why did you sign up to be a coach?
What I like most about being a coach is that I am able to share my success with others and help them to make the change as I did. I feel by being a coach, I have a huge title and physical appearance to maintain as well and that helps me stay fit. The discounts are a plus but the best feeling comes from helping others change their lives.
