Monday (8/17/09) Day Off – Was not feeling so hot from all the wilding out that I did with my friends on the tubing trip we went on.
Tuesday (8/18/09) Insanity Cardio Recovery – This was a perfect workout for me today. I was still not feeling in tip top shape yet and Cardio Recovery is not a lot of moving but more stretching.
Wednesday (8/19/09) – Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit – Finally feeling normal again. This workout still kicks my butt. I was not able to finish it yet but I feel as if I am two weeks away from doing so.
Thursday (8/20/09) – Insanity Pure Cardio – Sweat was flying every where again. This workout never feels like its getting easier but I guess its a good thing. This was also my brother Sean’s B-Day. The big 25. Man is that old.
Friday (8/21/09) – Insanity Cardio Power & Resistance – I am starting to like this workout a lot. I still have to take breaks when going through it but my push ups at the end are getting better and I can do a couple more of them.
Saturday (8/22/09) Went golfing with some friends at Idyl Wyld Golf Course in Livonia, MI. I felt a lot better then I did the last time I played. I shot an 87. Had a couple penalty strokes and got hosed on a couple putts where the ball stopped on the lip twice. Showed my friend a couple tips about golf. He is a lawyer and just started playing golf this year. His boss plays all the time and is pretty good. I showed him a couple tips and helped him go from a 77 on the front 9 to a 57 on the back 9. Not bad.
Sunday (8/23/09) – Day off – Got some projects done around the house.
While the week started out pretty slow I was able to make something out of it. My girlfriend Andrea and I decided we are going to start following the Insanity Elite Nutrition Plan. We did the grocery shopping needed for a lot of the recipes and it did not cost more than our normal bill. I feel a lot better as the food does not seem to sit in my stomach. In my opinion, the meals are not as complicated to make as the ones in the P90X Nutrition Plan. The P90X Nutrition Plan feels like information over load and the Insanity Elite Nutrition Plan is much easier to follow. I do not know if I lost any weight but my stomach and arms feel tighter. Andrea said the same. She is doing ChaLean Extreme with a friend of hers and is starting to notice results. It might also help that I passed on having any beers at all this past weekend as the previous one with my friends was out of control. I must have put on 5 pounds of “water weight” alone in two days of hanging out with them. Good thing I am doing the Insanity workout routine as it is definitely helping me burn anything out of my system.
In other good news I was bumped up to Ruby Coach this week. It looks like I should be bumped up to Diamond Coach very soon. I am really looking forward to it as this whole Beachbody Coach lifestyle is really working out for me. Now I can focus on helping other people get there too.
