How Much Space Do You Need For The Insanity Workout?

February 18, 2011 - Updated November 28, 2018

How Much Space Do You Need For The Insanity WorkoutIf you are thinking about doing the Insanity workout but are concerned if you have enough space then I hope this picture helps with your decision.

I can’t remember if I’m about to start Pure Cardio or ended up there after finishing Pure Cardio.

You pretty much need enough space around you to be able to fall and not hit anything. Just saying, it might happen. Insanity tends to push people and you might be wiped out and take a tumble.

I’m about 6 foot tall and I don’t have Go-Go Gadget Arms. Most living or family rooms will have more than enough space to do the Insanity workout in.

The room I am in is 12 X 14. And yes, it’s a little tight. I have to move the coffee table and one of our chairs into another room before I can start. With those things out of the way my girlfriend and I can do one of the Insanity workouts in that room together even with our couch that is about 2 feet behind my head in the picture.

So if you don’t live in a closet like us and don’t have to move furniture to workout then you’ll be just fine with the space you have.

This is pretty much the same amount of space you need to do the P90X workout in too. That’s kind of the nice thing about all Beachbody workouts. If you can see the TV then you should be fine.

What Order Do You Do The P90X Workouts In?

February 10, 2011 - Updated December 6, 2018

If you have borrowed P90X from a friend and they did not give you the P90X workout calendar with it then I’m sure you are wondering where to start. It’s very important that you follow the P90X workout guide and do them in order as that’s where you’ll get the best P90X results possible.

There are three different versions you can do of P90X. The classic, lean, and doubles routine. I recommend everybody start with the P90X Classic Routine. Here it is.

**What I recommend you do first is sign up for a Free Beachbody Account. When that’s done, hover over the “Get Fit” tab on the top left of the Team Beachbody site, then click on the Workout Sheets tab.

Or you can access and download these whenever you want with a Beachbody On Demand account.

P90X Protein Bar Review

February 5, 2011 - Updated December 8, 2018

New P90X Protein BarsI received my monthly order of P90X Protein Bars a couple weeks ago and was excited to get them. Beachbody was re-doing them in an effort to make them better. I thought the old P90X Protein Bars were pretty good to begin with so I was curious to see how much better these ones could be.

**Beachbody has discontinued the P90X Protein Bars. They have been replaced by the BEACHBAR.**

Are The New P90X Protein Bars Better?

Upon opening up the variety pack of P90X Protein Bars I went straight for my favorite flavor, the Wildberry Yogurt. After taking a couple bites I could taste the difference and that difference was…the taste. It had a lot more flavor in them then the previous P90X Protein Bars. It didn’t taste so much like a protein bar as it did taste like a really good candy bar. So far so good.

Do The New P90X Protein Bars Have Better Ingredients?

P90X Protein BarsBeachbody has said that the new P90X Protein Bars have more natural ingredients then the old ones. After taking a look at the ingredients from the old ones to these the only real differences I could find are that the calories dropped from 260 to 250 and sugar dropped from 26g to 17g.

The rest of the ingredients like vitamins, Copper, and my favorite ingredient name Riboflavin are about the same. The sugar content was the only thing I did not care for in the previous P90X Protein Bars. The protein content is still at 20g per bar.

What About The Other P90X Protein Bars Flavors?

The Cafe Mocha flavor is now my second favorite flavor with Chocolate Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fudge following. The difference I noticed in these other flavors is they added crisps in them to give it more flavor. The also have a softer shell making it easier to bite into and not so proteiny. You can read more about the P90X Protein Bars and buy them at the Beachbody Store.

All in all I think Beachbody has done a great job in improving their P90X Protein Bars. They took one of their best products and made it even better. I don’t know what they can do to improve them but I’m sure they will think of something. What I like best about the P90X Protein Bars is that they are quick snack that keep me full when I’m out snowboarding or on the go.

What Ingredients Are In The P90X Protein Bars?

The P90X Protein Bars are made from more natural ingredients with no trans fat delivering a great tasting protein bar. The P90X Protein Bars come with 250 calories and a number of vitamins and other healthy ingredients. Many of the other ingredients in the P90X Protein Bars will suffice 15% or more of your daily values for each nutrient.

When Should You Eat The P90X Protein Bars?

Enjoy the P90X Protein Bars as a healthy alternative for a midday snack, for pre-workout energy, a meal substitute, or when you are out and about. Since they have 250 calories in them you will be able to hold yourself over to your next meal without getting the feeling to eat junk food.

The P90X Protein Bars are easy to take along camping, skiing, snowboarding, or anywhere you go with a backpack. Choose the variety pack to sample a different one everyday. Beachbody is so sure that you’ll love them that they offer a 30 day money back guarantee on them.

Summary

I have been eating the P90X Protein Bars for years and used them through many rounds of P90X. They are included with my monthly shipment of Shakeology. From a taste point of view they are pretty good. All in all they do what they are supposed to do and that is hold you over oil your next meal.
