Beachbody On Demand is now a thing. You can view P90X and every other Beachbody workout online whenever you want for $99 a year ($8.33 a month). This is what you want.
Beachbody does make you pay for it up front. If you are not happy with it within 30 days they will refund your money. They also offer a 6 month option for $60 or a free 14 day trial.
With your Beachbody On Demand account you will be allowed to download the files for P90X to your computer. From there you will be given an encryption key to access them. As long as you keep your account active the encryption key will work.
I understand this is not free and that there are torrent websites out there where you can download P90X for free. Before you hit the back button I’d like to share a couple things with you.
Many of the sites where you can download P90X do not include the P90X workout guide, P90X calendar, or P90X meal plan. Its one thing to have the workouts but its another to know what you’re doing. The good news is you can get those for free from Beachbody. This is how you do it.
- Sign up for a free Beachbody account. Takes 30 seconds to do. When you’re done, click on the Get Fit and Eat Smart tab to download the P90X workout guides.
I like this post…..i like it A LOT.
This post is not going to change the minds of those who wish to download the damn thing. Plain and simple
@ Al Gore – LOL
I agree, but hopefully it will inform people that Beachbody is not giving it away for a reason. Karma is a MFer.
16 days to download 53 GBS? What are you smoking? I have to upload photos for my work(I’m a photographer) and it doesn’t even take that long to upload files. I don’t agree with people downloading illegal content, but to misinform someone is just plain ignorant.
@ Jibbly
I took those numbers from the person who wrote about it being worth it. They might have dial up for all I know so it could be the right info. At least we agree that people should not download P90X.
While I completely agree that those who download will have a much lower % success rate….having done 2 rounds of P90X over the past 6 months and having been active on the message board I can tell you that the success rates for those who purchase the product is FAR less than 75%. In fact, I would estimate that less than half of those who purchase it ever finish it. P90X is an extreme workout that requires MORE mental energy than physical energy. The vast majority of people I know simply don’t have the time or commitment necessary to finish something as strenuous as P90X.
@ Sean B
While our #’s are different the point is still the same. We have both seen more success from people who buy P90X versus the ones who download P90X.
I see what you are doing Brad and I applaud, but can’t you do it without streching the truth? Put down the facts — It will give you more credibility. Bring It!
@ Trace
Can you please describe what facts I need to say? Everything I wrote on the post is from what I have found and or experienced.
F That, I’m going to download P90X for free… thanks for wasting my time A-Hole.
@ Random Jerk Off
You’re welcome.
I downloaded it took bout 6 days to download theres no difference besides the fact your a pussy if you buy it… a video is a video there isnt just 1 4 buyers n downloaders its the same only difference if u buy it u have bragging rights but who gives a shit if u download it u can kick every1s ass who disagrees. —Am I Right?—
@ “P90X”
6 days huh? I’d like to respond to what you wrote but I can’t figure it out. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.
Wow people are ridiculous – good, professional handling of all of them Brad. And an excellent article to begin with.
I don’t think whether the success rate is as high as you claim or not that wasn’t your point as you stated – it was whether or not it was higher for those that purchased than those who illegally downloaded, which I completely understand. Of course it’s demanding and many will give it up, but I don’t believe P90X was ever designed for beginners.
And of course download time depends on connection speed that’s a given – I love how everyone is trying to obsess over the details. Either way it’s a ridiculously large file with a large download time, even for the fastest connections.
@ Josh
Thanks.
I borrowed a friends copy to get me by this summer, its not a hard workout bu very effective. Its worth the money though. The stupid guy with all the cussin, just get off, go steal it or whatever you want, none of us are going to change your mind. I as with all of us cant work for free either, how do you think we all got that fat to lose? We are VERY BLESSED!
Wow some people… I just finished day two, and your 100% right, I’m totally invested and there is no way I will quit. I bought the program, required equipment and supplements and I have never been so motivated. I’m doing the lean program, and have dedicated my facebook page to the 90 day journey to high school skinny!
I have experience with first graders, so to Mr. “p90x”: You seem like an offensive person. This site says a lot about having good character. I takes a commitment and dedication to start and finish this program, so considering the success rate for buyers vs. stealers… seems like the stealers have more “pussies” in their group.
Thanks for the excellent article Brad!
@ Emliy
LOL. You called him a pussy. Nice work on staying committed. P90X is not just a 90 day thing. Its a lifestyle change.
@ Ryan
Well said.
Well, yes the price is intimidating for Beachbody products, I’ll be the first to admit that. These are in fact the most expensive home workout dvds that I know of. Maybe there are other with higher pricetags but personally I don’t know of anything as pricey as the Beachboy products.
But awhile back I splurged anyway on the Power90. The P90X informercial is just so alluring, and Tony Horton is pretty convincing at seeming like he honestly knows how to get you in shape. So since I know P90X definitely is not something I’m ready for, I did some research and opted for Power90.
When my package arrived and I looked everything over well, I’ll admit that it was hard not visualize the dvd’s at a yardsale with a two dollar price tag on them. Let’s be real, this is a lot of money for just a couple workout dvds. At least it sure is for me, I’m on a fixed income! I gave it a chance though.
The workouts are really so simple for Power90, and honestly I’m not sure how Tony Horton really even does it, but somehow he just motivates me to keep pushing play. I’m not bored with it, and I’m making slow but steady progress.
I made my second payment this month for the set… I never imagined I’d be making “payments” for just workout dvds!! But the fact is, this stuff works. And I’m not even into the hard stuff yet (P90X).
I’m pretty sure I’m going to eventually graduate to P90X. I’m not excited about that 120 dollar pricetag, yes that makes me cringe to the bone to think of it, but like Brad said… if you don’t invest anything into something, then it’s a little too easy to walk away from it. And I don’t want to walk away from this. I want my beach body and I don’t care how long it takes, I want it!
And by the way, Brad do toss up another giveaway soon. I want you to buy my P90X system for me ok bro? Because you love me and I’m awesome and you want me to succeed, yeah! 🙂
@ Stephen
This is exactly what I’m talking about. I’ll be giving away another P90X soon.
Brad. I liked your article and you handled the comments well. Some of the comments were ridiculous and immature. I have used P90X for almost two years. 22 months to be exact. It cost me around 5 a month? Pennies a day? The DVD’s are still in good shape. The cost is not significant. The real benefit for a guy closer to 50 than 40 is: 6ft, 175 lbs, 14 body fat, low cholesteral, low blood pressure, better mood, sleep better, think clearer, more energy, smile more, clothes fit better, better balance, good flexibility, no medication etc etc etc. I play basketball and soccer with kids much younger than me. I see guys younger than me and older than me in bad shape. They rarely smiling, confidence is low etc. You need to go ahead and buy this thing if you are on the fence. Get some Shakeology too. I use both and love them. Make an investment in yourself. This program is really important for the older people that need to maintain muscle, good balance etc.
Great post, man! I’m also a Team Beachbody Coach, and, although it’s tempting to get a bootleg copy, it’s just not worth it. To me, it’s like trying to sneak into a gym or the YMCA every day for 3 months. You may not get caught doing it, and you may get the same results as if you’d just paid for the membership, but you’re ripping yourself off. When you break it down, P90X is only about $40 a month for the duration of the program. Is your health worth $40?
@ GoofyFitnessDad
Good point.
Hey Brad,
Some of us think God is an imaginary being. So, like, threatening people with hell and all that jazz just makes you look like an idiot. Mercy on our souls? That’s laughable.
I’ll be back when my download finishes and I’ll let everyone know exactly how long it took.
Thanks.
Godless
@ Godless
Thanks for commenting. I’m not going to disagree with you on the God topic but you actually made me feel old. Your IP address came from a Louisville.edu computer so there is a strong chance that you’re still in college. This leads me to believe that you are 18 – 22 years old and when the movie Billy Madison came out in 1995 you were 3 to 7 years old. This would make you too young to remember one of the funniest quotes from the movie which I was referencing.
So to you this time, I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MRmxfLuNto
Please, let us know how long it takes as you will see that most if not all of the comments left from other people don’t care. Maybe you need to read the post and their comments again to see what this post is really about.
I really don’t see the program as that expensive. You would pay $120 for 1 or 2 sessions with a personal trainer. Anyone that’s used the program knows that once you push play, its like you just can’t not finish the workout. Every time I say I am just going to do half a workout because I had a busy day, I end up doing the entire workout. That’s value.
That feeling you get from the program that makes you want to keep going is priceless.
You can’t download the supplements, so get whatever you want or buy the Beachbody supplements through me.
Most people that have success with the programs are more likely to purchase Beachbody supplements because they have had success with the program. They then trust that the company makes quality products.
http://beachbodycoach.com/pricepeeler
For me, part of the commitment is putting the DVD into the machine and actually pressing play.
Price
I would not even waist time reponding to some of these posts. On another subject I am noticing an energy boost when I drink Shakeology. I had energy all day yesterday. I worked out in the morning, spent 9 hours at work and then worked around the house for 3-4 hours when I got home. I just felt super all day.
@ Pricepealer –
Man, I would love to have enough of an income that I could share your outlook of this stuff not being that expensive. Apparently you’re used to a larger budget than I am (or that most of the world is). I am *not* downing the Beachbody products, not at all, I’m a believer in the fact they work if you put forth the effort, and that in itself makes them worth the price. But come on man, “not that expensive”? Please. Most regular people will look at you like you’re crazy if they know you spent that kind of money on exercise dvds.
As for the personal trainer price comparison you made, I’m no expert on who does what but I’m pretty willing to bet that it’s a very miniscule portion of the population who has ever in their life paid for a session with a live personal trainer. So… not really a great way to convince the average joe that this price is a bargain.
All my life I’ve only ever really known just regular folks, people who struggle to make ends meet and think twice about everything they buy to be sure if they really actually need it. So considering that, you can kind of imagine how it comes across when anyone acts like the price of these Beachbody products is not that expensive.
And hey! Anyone can praise the quality of Beachbody products all day long if they like, I’m with ya! Two very big thumbs up to Beachbody! But the price of this stuff is crazy and it’s just weird to see people act like it’s pocket change or something. And the Shakeology… 100 bucks a month for a nutrition shake omfg are you kidding me?! I’m sure it’s a great product but good lord!
In the end, I’m joining you. Because I’m going to make a fortune (yes! a fortune! somehow?) and then I’ll be actiing all uppity as heck too like 120 bucks for this is not that expensive.
@ Stephan
You make some very valid points. Those points are so good that it caused me to write http://bradgibala.com/why-is-p90x-so-expensive. When you take everything into consideration you will see that P90X is under priced.
The average person has not paid for a personal trainer but a gigantic percent of the population has wasted their money on a gym membership. Think of all your friends, family members, co-workers, and maybe yourself who have paid for a gym membership and never went. I would make it to the gym but would get bored and not see any changes. After doing P90X I was instanly hooked as I was getting expert advice for a fraction of the cost.
Shakeology is under priced too. You can’t look at it as how do they charge $120 a month for a bag. You are paying for the ingredients. Beachbody packages it without the water or milk mixed in. If they were to make it mixed in with those, the packaging cost would go up by a large amount. They assume you have running water or can afford milk (if your tastes desire) to mix it in. Think about buying a Gatorade at the gas station for $2 a piece. All you get in that is sodium, sugar, and electrolytes. Over 95% of Gatorade is water. With Shakeology you get those plus a ton of other healthy ingredients. Shakeology sold on its own pre-mixed with water in a 20 ounce Gatorade type bottle would cost well over $7 a bottle making a 30 days supply over $200.
I know your on board with the products but sometimes you have to see these things from the other side of it.
@ Brad –
You’re my most favorite dood! Now where’s that new P90X contest?
TAKE A LOOK HERE BUD. I DRIVE LONG HUAL ALL OVER OUR COUNTRY. I DO KEEP WEIGHTS AND RESISTANT BANDS ON THE TRUCK AND TRY TO KEEP GOOD HEALTHY FOOD ON THE TRUCK. I ALSO KEEP GOOD VITAMINS AND OTHER HEALTHY PRODUCTS IN MY SYSTEM. MY PROBLEM IS THIS. I DONT MIND INVESTING THE MONEY FOR THE DVD’S SO THIS IS NOT AN ISSUE OF PURCHASE VS. DOWNLOAD. THE ISSUE IS REALLY QUITE SIMPLE. I DONT GET TO STOP FOR EXTENTED PERIODS OF TIME. OFTEN ONLY FOR AN HOUR AT BEST, BUT SOMETIMES LONGER. ALMOST EVERYTHING I DO IS IN THE CAB OF MY TRUCK AND I NEED TO KNOW THAT I CAN SUCCEED AT THE BETTER OF THE EXERCISES (AS IN BE ABLE TO PERFORM) WITH THE LIMITED AMOUNT OF SPACE. THIS IS THE OH SO SIMPLE YET DECIDING FACTOR FOR ME. PLEASE RESPECT ME ENOUGH TO BE A RATIONAL THINKER RATHER THAN A SALESMAN. IF YOU SEE IT FIT TO NOT USE THIS PARTICULAR WORKOUT, PERHAPS YOU CAN DIRECT ME TO SOMETHING MORE APPROPRIATE. I AM FAIRLY FIT AND IN GOOD HEALTH AND AT THE LEAST I INTEND ON MAINTAINING THAT BUT WOULD RATHER IMPROVE IT. APPRECIATE IT BUD AND KEEP IT UP.
@ JD
You have a couple options. I tell people who do not have the time with P90X to do half of it one week and the other half the following week while still moving on to the next workout the following day. My favorite workouts which are under an hour are Power 90 and the 10 Minute Trainer. The 10 minute trainer might be perfect for you as you use bands for the entire workout. You can check them out in the Beachbody Store.
P90X may SEEM expensive but you have to break down what you’re actually getting. You get 12 workouts (plus 2 extra workouts now) for $119.85. That’s only $8.56 per workout! If you went and bought a Jane Fonda workout DVD, you’ll pay like $10-$15 right? You’ve obviously heard that it’s awesome from your friends and that it WORKS right? And you are probably aware that Jane Fonda is for people who don’t want to get extreme….so stop bitching about how expensive it is and buy P90X instead of trying to be an a-hole and download a crappy copy of it.
I SIMPLY WANT TO MAKE MY OWN OPINION KNOWN. IT SEEMS A WASTE OF TIME TO SEE THAT PEOPLE ARE STILL DEBATING PAYING FOR IT VS FREE DOWNLOAD. THE WAY I SEE IT IS IF YOU PAY FOR IT IT DOESNT SPELL SUCCESS UNLESS YOU STICK TO IT AND IF YOU DONT PAY FOR IT THE SAME APPLIES. PURCHASING DOES PROMOTE DEVOTION AS YOU HAVE AN INVESTMENT. I THINK WE ALL WOULD AGREE ATLEAST FOR THE MOST PART. PEOPLE WILL DO AS THEY SEE FIT AND I HOPE SUCCESS REGARDLESS OF HOW YOU CHOOSE TO GET THE WORKOUTS. I HAVE DONE THE WORKOUTS WITH OTHERS BUT HAVENT PURCHASED THEM BECAUSE I DRIVE SEMI RIGS ACROSS THE COUNTRY (LONG HAUL) AND I AM SUPER LIMITED ON SPACE. BUT I AM PURCHASING THE 10 MIN TRAINER AS I CAN MAKE THAT WORK WITH MY SPACE. BOTTOM LINE IS THAT NOTHING VENTURED EQUALS NOTHING GAINED. THAT IS JUST MY OPINION. I AM HOPING WE CAN LET THIS DEAD HORSE LIE AND GET TO MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES LIKE GETTING FIT AND HEALTHY AND STOP BASHING PEOPLE FOR PROFESSIONALLY AND RESPECTFULLY STATING THEIR OPINIONS. NOW P90X IT UP!
The P90X is an investment and a good one too. You really can’t beat the price of $120 which averages to $40 a month for the 3 months it takes to finish the program. Getting a gym membership will run you between $40 – 60 a month. The problem with getting a membership is unless you are a trainer, you really have no idea where to begin. For $40 a month you get an accomplished trainer with a great nutrition guide. So many people ask me if the P90X really works. My immediate reaction to this question is that you get out what you put into it. If you follow the workouts and the nutrition guide you cannot lose.
For those of you looking to download it for free, with all of the computer virus’ out there why would you?
Also, may God and the California States Attorney have mercy on your soul. People who download free copies are slowly being prosecuted. Your IP internet address goes right back to your computer so it isn’t hard to track you down. The odds of not getting caught are in your favor, but why take the chance?
Well, I downloaded it for free, after 90 days of training, I saw real fcuking results, so I bought the disk because 120 dolllars for what I got was just amazing.
@ Trevor
I can respect that.
ur wrong go to craiglist!!
well played my friend…well played
@ Tmonwy
I’m wrong about what?
@ Cindy
Thanks
Brad, your article begins, “If you are looking to “Download the P90X DVD For Free” or “Download the P90X Torrent” then you are in the right place.”
You THEN proceed to write about PAYING for it.
That is INTENTIONALLY MISLEADING and you KNOW it. It was a LIE to pull people into pulling up your article, in hopes of swaying them to PURCHASE it.
In marketing, they call that the old “BAIT AND SWITCH.”
@ F.L Atulence LOL
I understand you might think that I am baiting and switching people from the catchy title and how I ended it. However, I think you missed the entire point of the article. In it I describe how Beachbody does not offer the P90X DVDs for download and why buying it guarantees you get everything you are supposed to get. If anything, my article brings up some very good points to people who are interested in starting P90X and how to get it.
theres no fishy thing here right?? no virus o.o
@ Daniel
No. As you can see, there are no links to download P90X here.
well…that was entertaining.
Keep up the good work Brad.
ps – @ Stephen – need more money? Become a coach (i.e. distributor) with Beachbody. Pays for itself and then some.
Well i did download the copies of the dvd’s so i could get a feel of what to expect in the workouts. Im doing p90x with a couple buddies in a garage. But when im done with my first 90 days, i will be buying the dvd’s. So far after 2 weeks im feeling good, but sore all the time. This man right here will be one heck of a success story when i get to my goal. Started off being 6’1 350 lbs and a little over 50% body fat.
@ Mark
Stephen did become a coach.
@ Jeff
To reduce soreness you should really be using the P90X Recovery Drink. Buy a tub of it with your buddies and split the cost. I can tell you from experience that the stuff works. Go to the Beachbody Store and buy it. Keep sticking with it.
The enthusiasum behind your rant speaks novels for your confidence in the product but we are in a recession and some of us simply can not afford a $120.00 do-it-yourself kit. If this product has been bought by millions of people the company is obviously not hurting financially. I am a full time student and I work full time. I split bills with a roomate and still can’t make ends meet. I will not be fat if there are ways out there to keep me in great shape. I choose to spend a dollar per day at the Park & Rec 3 times a week. This cost of this program is more than I am currently spending on fitness is over a year. If anything, the company should feel bad about being the robbers.
@ Tay
Thanks for commenting. Many would say that we are in a recession right now but I think of it as we are in a pattern of trying to find new ways to do business. Yes, P90X has been bought by millions of people and Beachbody is doing fine but that is a bad point. That’s like saying Mercedes wouldn’t mind it if a couple hundred of their cars all of a sudden went missing.
That’s great that you have a workout plan that works for you at the Parks & Rec. I spent my $120 over 2 years ago and have used it weekly ever since getting it. Based on your math I am actually paying less for P90X now then you are for the Parks & Recs. P90X is not just a 90 day thing, its a workout program for life. I understand that money is tight when you’re at college and I think its great that you work and go to school. I know nothing about you but I’m guessing your a undergrad and not somebody going to night school getting your MBA while holding down a career job. Reason being is you call Beachbody a bunch of “Robbers.” I’m sure that when you get out of school and you do get a job you’re probably going to want to get paid a salary and maybe even benefits. So how can the company pay you a salary and benefits? I’m guessing its gonna have to come from the profits they make from selling a product. Crazy huh? I’m sure Beachbody does not feel bad about creating a product that has changed millions of peoples lives, employs over 400 people, and is doing something to help rid the country of obesity. That was your economic lesson for the day.
You know there was a time when people found alternatives when they couldnt afford things. Like buying a cheaper video…walking around the neighborhood..jumping rope…playing tennis..etc Now, its..i can’t afford it, so i’ll steal it?
I can not understand why people fall prey to every advertisement they see and get this mentality that they have to have it at all costs. If you have a real desire to lose weight..you can do it…If you can afford to buy the program..buy it…If you can not afford it…find another program or research other exercise elements and put together what works best for you. I personally dont believe you have to take all these different supplements to get in shape and stay that way. All these shakes that people spend hundreds of dollars on and meal bars..baffle me….The same mentality that has set in motion a need for meal bars and shakes to stay healthy…is the same mentality that got this majority of the WORLD into an obese state…It’s the microwave mentality…” I have to have it now…i dont have time…its easy…its convenient” We are so lazy in our day and time…we dont want to work hard for anything…and then we complain about the people who find ways to profit off of this need. I am a single mother of two children, I work at night( 12hr) and I go to school fulltime in the day….my kids are involved in band, karate, ballet, science team, spelling bees, volunteer projects, church, and then whatever other things they come up with.. Basically i have a very full load and I still have to plan meals and make sure my kids as well as myself eat properly. I have tried p90x and I love it. I use someone else’s set because they BOUGHT it and it was collecting dust. Will I ever fork over 120.00 for the DVDs…probably not….that doesnt mean i am not worth the money..it means that I may have bigger priorities than spending that type of money on a video tape. I dont owe it to myself or consider it the only way to make an investment in myself. The best investment I can make is to use my brain and make the best choices health wise for myself. That is what I owe to myself..not to go broke or go to jail to have something I dont need. This is the greatest workout video I have ever tried, and to those who can get it…I would definitely say Go For It!! To those who can not afford it…Dont Buy It…BUT ALSO DONT STEAL IT!!!!
I’ve been working out the last year at ZX fitness and have done very well lost over 100# but would still like to loose about 25 more # need GOOD jump start !
@ Bubba
Congrats on losing over 100 pounds. That’s crazy. Good job on sticking to a plan.
Hey Brad. I was wondering how much are you willing to help with me on the price for P90X? If you’re willing to help me with P90X I was wondering if you could help me with the price for Insanity? It’s the same price but I heard Insanity is better. I heard it’s a more intense training and I’m someone who likes challenges that are hard. I’m 14 and I had been working out(without really trying) for 3 years and not satisfied with myself comparing myself to others who had 10x less the time I was training. I just want a better body early because now I have the time. After I graduate from high school I might not have time for working out because I’ll probably go to University and I’m sure I won’t have that much time to work out. Then after University I’ll be working on my main career which might even take even more time. Also I’ll be tired after work, which would not allow myself to work out since I don’t have much energy left to work out. Thank you for your time Brad.
@ Michael
I sent you an e-mail.
Hey brad i am currently in college, i on the basketball team but i still feel exhausted and that i am not in my best shape, i was womdering how much will you help me out in paying for P90X… i have been watching the users of P90x on you tube and they look so fit, please help!!!
I’m stationed overseas and have an FPO address. Looking at the beachbody website all I could find is DHL shipping for FPO. Doesn’t really work for us at FPOs because sometimes DHL can’t get on the base. The only quick way to get products to military at APO/FPO is priority mail. Can you help with this?
@ Chris
I just sent you an e-mail.
@ Lisa
Check your e-mail.
Hey Brad,
I work full time at a career job, at which Im stuck behind a desk all day. Plus I am a full time college student. I dont have a ton of time but I thought I can fit an hour into my morning for a workout that works. Im not over weight, and am decently fit. I currently pay for a gym membership but end up not going because I dont have time to change clothes workout and then shower and change again and get to class. I see here you’ve been helping people with the price as well? Any help would be awesome!
@ Josh
I hear you about the gym. Its been three years since I’ve gone back to the gym now. Its all because of P90X and other Beachbody workouts.
Hey Brad,
I am currently a full time college student along with a job. I don’t have a lot of time to hit the gym. I was looking back at some high school pictures of when i was in wrestling. I want to get back into that body, back when i was quite fit, instead of what i have turned into with no time to work out. So i was wondering how you could help, thanks
@ Nick
I just sent you an e-mail.
Hey Brad,
I’ll start by saying I really like this site! It gives a good view on yet another reason to buy this program. I’m a student and a full time worker, and I have little to no time to get to a gym to work out during a regular day, not to mention the money to pay for the gym membership. Rent and tuition just costs too much! I want to be as fit as I can be, and I don’t want to resort to downloading P90x for free. I was wondering if you could help me afford this workout plan more easily.
Thanks,
Matt
@ Matt
I sent you an e-mail.
Brad, I am 38 yrs old and seriously over weight. I am 6′ tall and weigh 310lbs. I have had 4 back surgeries. I have a 5 yr old that I can barely pick up and I do not want to be the kind of dad that cant help or be a part of my sons life. He is into sports and riding motorcycles, which I cannot due because of my size. Will I be able to use p90x effectively or is there something else better? Money is tight, my wife is a full time student, have 2 kids and I was let go from my job because of my weight. So I am unemployed but I will do whatever it takes to get the money so I can purchase something to help me be a part of my kids lives. Thank you for any help.
@ Mike
I sent you a detailed e-mail about this. If you did not get it I would suggest doing Power 90 and using Shakeology. This way you will build up your strength while putting nutritious meals into your body. When you are done with Power 90 then move onto P90X.
Hey Brad, I recently finished the Power 90 workout program, and I now want to move onto P90X but the price is a tad high. I have read above that you are helping others out with the price, is there anything you can offer me? If not, thanks anyways.
Hi, I am a 21 year old stay-at home mom. I had an emergency c-section 9 months ago, and have recovered from it much better than I ever thought. I am 5’2″ and weigh about 135. I weighed 140 when I got pregnant, so i’m looking to get back to the weight I was when I met my husband at 115lbs. My question is, should I go ahead and and jump into p90x and give it all I can, or start with something less intense first? I want the results that p90x gives in the time it gives, buy I don’t know if a post c-section body with, not a lot of excersing needs some start up work. Lol
hey brad i wandered on to this site was reading the Q&A i am working full time trying to get motivated in the p90x every thing i’ve seen, it seems to work with the economy the way it is and enrolling in some college classes to better my life i cant afford a gym membership how can you help me with the p90x price
Hello Brad,
My name is eddy and i’m 19 years old, 5’6 and weight 160ish pounds. I used to be fit when i was younger, but ever since high school and college kicked in, it all started going downhill, i do not feel the energy i once had. I joined a sport and i was getting exhausted quickly. I;ve started to grown a belly and i hate it. I’ve heard and seen many positive things about P90X and i would love to try it. Since i am a college student, money is tight and i’ve been reading that you can make it affordable. I really want to do this for myself and health.
Where can I download the P90X for free.
@ Kyji
You can download P90X for free in the Beachbody Store.
@ Eddy and Doug – Check your e-mail.
That’s not FREE?
@ Kyji
Yes, it is. You give them $120 and then P90X is free.
HAHAHA that’s NOT FREE, free is when you don’t pay NOTHING at all not even a cent?!?! WOW
Funny I know. What’s really funny is thinking P90X is free.
I ripped and burned 12 p90x DVD in 4 hours so what u got to say what what
I am in college and broke and I recently bought the P90X program off of Craigslist from somebody. I met them and the package was factory sealed (it was tight and not cut open or anything) the DVDs were still in the styrofoam stuff, but when I went to play them the disks were all scratched and wouldn’t play. Any way you could help me with the price on the program? Thanks
@ Chris
I’ve got nothing to say besides prove me wrong. Follow the plan and don’t quit. I’m betting you will quit because you didn’t buy them.
@ Chuck
Sorry to hear about trying to buy P90X on Craigslist. This happens more than people know. I sent you an e-mail.
Hi Amber-
I don’t know if this is too late to answer your question, But I think before starting P90X you should reach out to your doctor. But, if you feel that you are completely healed, and you have no pain what’s so where you can truly give P90X a try. I have a friend who also had a c-section and she is doing P90X with me and has had no problems at all.
It’s worth a try.
i’m an 18 year old roughly 220 and 6 foot tall. i have to pay for my college and so i have to save. i read the comments and the information on this page and it would help me out alot if you could make p90x nore affordable
what is better p90x or insanity??
@ Braulio
http://bradgibala.com/p90x-vs-insanity

@ Sogeking
Good job on making it to Day 26. Only 64 more to go. Leave me a comment when you are done.
hey there i am just wondering if the p90x is a good thing for me see i am 16 and have a very average build and 5ft 8 but have wanted to be more then that my dad has bought the dvds but never used them what do you think i should do
@ Appollo
Do it.
Hey, I’m a 17 year old high school student. 5 11 and around 190 with 13% body fat. If I go to Px90, will I be able to get a very good shape within the 3 months?
@ Sam
Yes. P90X will kick your butt over the next 90 days. Go to the Beachbody Store to check out what you get with it.
you are an ass hole this is not free you fucking scammers…
@ Albert
Are you saying that I’m the asshole or the people who are trying to get P90X for free? I’m guessing me but I don’t think you can call me a scammer (maybe a trickster) as in the next sentence I tell you I purposely placed a link there to the store.
Brad,
I’m almost 40 and I’m probably 80 pounds overweight. I’ve had to have emergency back surgeries due to an accident. I’m totally miserable in life because of my weight. I’ve spent so much time helping others that I lose sight of myself. I’m going through a divorce after 20 years of marriage and my finances are less than desireable right now. Is there some kind of payment plan or anything I else I can do? I’m serious about getting my life back in shape. I say my “life” because my self esteem is horrible due to my weight. “You’re not fat, you’re big boned” is what I hear all the time. It’s so bogus.
@ Dori
The good thing is that you are ready to take back your life and that’s the important first step. There are no payment plans for P90X but you can sign up to be a Beachbody Coach and get a 25% discount on P90X.
okay so i am broke and i went to the beach body store to try and down load it but i couldnt find it on there.
@ Joey
How you download P90X is you go to the Beachbody Store, click on P90X and then “Add to Cart.” Insert your credit card info and P90X will be sent to your house.
I want an E-mail too! Will you send me one please? Im not asking you to help me pay for this, its only 120$. Im just going to start saving $5 here $10 there. I just want check out what Doug and Eddy got.
hey brad,
im 17 years old 5’6 130 lbs and looking to tone up and get bigger. Although i am not a kid my age is sligtly misleading, I am currently taking growth hormones and have a bone age of 13. I do not look close to my age and do not have facial hairs. I am however pretty athletic. Throughout high school i have done wrestling, track, cross country, and am currently trying to work out at the gym. Do you think p90x is appropriate for me?
Don’t waste my effing time. We want it free.
LOL. And I want a free Ferrari too.
@ Jon
Yes, P90X sounds like the ideal workout for you.
@ James
Check your email.
HILARIOUS!!!
I purchased the p90x program three years ago, best workout program out there. I start the program each year in february, and i’m ready for the summer. The summer months i slack a bit, but will do the p90x total body workout two three times a week. It keeps me in shape through the summer. Each time i started the p90x program it was like the workout from hell, but into the third week things aways got better, a great increase in strength, amazing results. 48 years old, and I look like i’m in my mid thirty. My three sons ageing 21-25 started after they could not keep up to me in a three mile run one day, they are in the millitary doing PT test throughout the year.. and i had not ran in 8 months. Just p90x.. Do it, you will not regret it.
@ Charlie
Well said. P90X is a investment in your health and fitness and should be looked at that way.
hey brad. I am 21, and weigh aprox 155 lbs. I would not mind paying for the program at all, but I
im Carlos and im trying to get in shape im 5’9 182 pounds with 20% bodyfat and i dont care how much i weigh but i wanna be 10-12% bodyfat will p90x help me with this? i also lift weights 4x a week please reply!!!!!!! thanks
I just had a baby and I want to get back in shape. Is there anyway I can get a discount on this price? I am serious about getting in shape and I am tired of not being able to wear what I want and still look good without wearing a girdle like tank top.
Carlos
Yes, P90X will help you with this. However, you need to be following the P90X meal plan. 80% or more of your results come from what you eat. I cannot stress enough how important it is to be drinking Shakeology while using P90X.
Latoya
The only way to get a discount on P90X is to sign up as a Beachbody Coach and buy it with a 25% discount. I tell everybody to do that, buy P90X and Shakeology. You’ll save over $60 on the entire order.
Latoya if you want it cheaper try amazon and ebay they have genuine p90x dvds,
that are a lot cheaper than the 100 plus dollars.
@ Sarah to Latoya
This is partially true. The only genuine P90X dvds on eBay are used. Any P90X DVD claiming to be new on eBay is a fake and or scam. Beachbody does not sell on eBay but they do have an account on Amazon. If a listing says “I bought P90X from Beachbody a year ago and did not use it.” then that would be ok to buy. However, I would recommend you buy it from the Beachbody Store new so you know you are getting a real copy. Along with that you will get a Beachbody Coach to help support you through it. This way you will not sell your P90X DVDs saying I did not use it.
Is this program suitable for me if I have problems with my knees? I can’t do squats or high impact cardio.
Yes. They show you how to modify every move including the high impact cardio laws. I also have bad knees so I’ve had to modify them. What happened over the first couple weeks is the areas around my knees got stronger so I could do the higher impact moves.
I have started taking care of my body at age 58. I’ve lost weight and need toning up. Arms, abs,
upper back (back fat) (ugly). Can this help me?
Yes. P90X can do all of that.
how can i put my p90x dvd videos on my ipod touch? the thing is that i have a very small place with many people walking around, like my little brothers, and i am trying to take it to the gym or my friends house.
I’m not sure how you can put P90X on the iPod touch. I do know they are coming out with a P90X app very soon so look out for that.
Hey Brad,
I obviously purchased the P90X program way back when. I have all of the DVDs, but I am actually torrenting them online to get backup copies. Also, some of my DVDs freeze up. So that’s the only reason why I am torrenting them.
Anyway, I don’t know if this is against the law. I don’t believe it is, since I already own copies of the program, and I won’t be seeding the files. Just downloading them for backups / and since some DVDs freeze.
Im not sure about any of the laws.
At WOW
I would agree.
I totally agree that paying for P90X is the right thing to do, and I have (the DVDs should arrive this week). But I need a digital copy to play on my netbook. If Beachbody had an option for a digital copy (with DRM) I would have bought that instead of the DVDs. It’s disappointing that they don’t.
first off i think downloading something without paying for it is for complete losers in this article it says it takes 16 days to download the p90x i want to call bs on that my friend downloaded it and had it burned in under three hours on his computer but besides that im 25 six foot and weigh around 180 i am wanting to drop my weight to 155ish but be toned muscular and healthy looking do ydou think that is a good weight for my age and height
one quick question brad im 15 years old I weigh 263 pounds I am 5″1 and I wanted to know wat u could recomend me to lose weight
Itzel – The first thing you need to do is change what you eat. I recommend you sign up for a free Beachbody account and start reading through their free eating tips guide. You will also want to get your parents involved as this is going to be a family effort. No fast food, pop, candy, or greasy food to start. Get out walking or doing something and I’m sure you’ll see the weight start to come off. Its a process so give yourself 6 months and set small goals.
I’m sure Beachbody is working on making P90X downloadable with a pay option very soon. It only makes sense. They have other workout videos that are streaming for free.
Izzy – It might have taken 16 hours for the person who downloaded P90X because they had dial up or was on a slow site. Are you calling your friend a loser for downloading P90X? 155 pounds for 6 foot sounds very skinny. I’m 5′ 11″ and am 185. You’d be better around your current weight while working on getting stronger with P90X. Go get a free Beachbody account and I can help you hit your fitness goals.
See thats the problem thats all the type of food my family buys well since jan 5 I satrted my diet and so far I have not ate junk food or drank soda all I drink is water and sobe I dnt eat as much but yes thank you for the advice I really want to change the way I look and at school we work out to p90x on thursdays and man do I love those work outs I just wish I had them at home
Heii im 16 years old and im about 112lbs and 5’6, i want to gain about 10 pounds but in muscle but my matabolism is very fast so its hard for me to gain weight even when i was drinking a high calorie muscle maker shake, can i get some advice?
Thats a good question. Why do you want to gain the weight? I recommend getting a free Beachbody account and searching the forums for advice.
Do the master cleanse then P90X:)))
Hanna
I would recommend the Beachbody Ultimate Reset first and then P90X. I dropped 16 pounds in 21 days doing it and feel ready to go for another round of P90X.
hey im 17, and weigh about 105 im wondering if the p90x workout will help gain muscle weight and get more toned and hopefully bigger. I asked this because i know most people use it to lose weight.
P90X will do all of those things. You need to have a lot of weight to lose first if you’re going to lose weight. I didn’t when I started and I put on 10 pounds of muscle in my first 90 days.
will p90x help me get a 6 pack?
If you do the workouts everyday AND follow the meal plan you will get 6 pack abs from P90X.
I’m 15 years old and about 5’5 last i checked I weight about 130. I had a strong core for awhile, but while working over the summer lost that muscle. have any advice on how i can get it back?
Ab workouts for one. P90X would help.
15 years old im 5’10 or 11ish i weigh around 135 pounds im looking to put on muscle but also look lean and ripped. i need a diet with a workout routine because none have seemed to work.
Kyle
P90X will do all of that. Have your parents go to the Beachbody Store and do it together.
Saludos y gracias traduccion a ingles.
Hola Pablo
ive been thinking about using p90x for sometime, i am an avid gym member or as you can say a gym rat. I 5’9 and 165 pound.I have been recently getting bored with driving to the gym everyday so i’ve been wondering alot about p90x. Do they have a routine of what you work out for each day of the 90 days? Is there a chart where you write down your results. I know there is 12 dvds does this mean that you work off 1 dvd a day? how does it work?. I don’t want to just buy this dvd set for 150$ and not have any idea whats going on with the routine? THANKS!
Yes to all of your questions.
Hi im 14 years old ,, im 5’4 i think and about 125 lbs,,,,, i am looking for a workout to get ripped cause o am being teased alot at school for gaining too much weight ,, does p90x help in weight loss and about how much workouts a day will ensure some impact ?
Yes to weight loss. One workout a day. Do your parents want to do P90X with you?
Hello I’m 12 almost 13 and I am 5’3 and weights 120 pounds I play baseball and I was think if this will actually get me ripped how long will this take and if this workouts going to affect my knees because I have sending Larson o’hanson knee send-rum.
I downloaded a p90x file and when I try to extract the RAR file it says to insert the disc of that work out wasted over 5 hrs
Sorry to hear about you wasting 5 hours trying to download P90X. Might have been easier to just buy P90X at the Beachbody Store and get everything sent to you.
Shouldn’t effect your knees doing P90X. Only one workout does a lot of jumping.
