Monday (4/5/10) – 13 mile mountain bike ride – Its been awhile since I’ve been on the bike for this long. It took me about an hour to do the ride. My legs were feeling pretty good when I was done.
Tuesday (4/6/10) – P90X Chest and Back with Ab Ripper X – I did 225 total push ups and 43 pull ups. That is 23 more push ups and 8 more pull ups than last week. Big improvement.
Wednesday (4/7/10) – Insanity Max Interval Sports Training – Felt like I’ve maxed out with P90X Plyometrics for the time being and did this Insanity workout instead. After 8 minutes of this I was sweating every where and was just exhausted. Made it through and will be doing this one again next week.
Thursday (4/8/10) – P90X Shoulders and Arms – I’m making small gains here and there with this workout. I increased the weight from 10lbs to 12lbs for the straight arm shoulder flys and used 30 pounds for the “static arm curls” both times. The more that I do this P90X workout I keep realizing how proper form is way more important then trying to lift more.
Friday (4/9/10) – P90X Yoga X– Did 3 push ups for every Vinyasa I did. My flexibility is coming back.
Saturday (4/10/10) – P90X Legs and Back – Only made it half way through the workout and realized I had to be somewhere. I started out very well with 15 reverse grip chin ups. Next week is recovery week so maybe I’ll be ready to break my mark of 82 chin ups in two weeks.
Sunday (4/11/10) – 6 mile bike ride and softball practice – Rode my mountain bike to practice. Felt good to get some swings in.
Very strong week. Working out or doing some active every day. I slept very good this whole week. Must be because I busted my butt with the workouts and riding my bike.
